The Arrell Global Food Innovation Awards are now accepting nominations to honor global excellence in food innovation and community impact. In 2025, the Community Impact Award will recognize individuals or groups who have significantly improved nutritional health and food security, particularly in disadvantaged communities. The prize includes a $100,000 CAD cash award and up to $25,000 CAD for travel and accommodation expenses. Nominations are open to citizens worldwide, with submissions due by April 24, 2025.
Citizens of any country are eligible to apply. Nominations may come from private companies, academic institutions, government units, charitable foundations, and not-for-profit organizations and any representative within the organization can lead the nomination.
This award, valued at $100,000, recognizes global excellence in the broad area of food innovation and community impact. In 2025, one award will be given to an individual or group who has contributed to improved nutritional health and/or food security, with a focus on strengthening disadvantaged communities.
